If you are passionate about theatre, music, dance, performance, or any other creative field, please contact us to join our Open Programme.
Open Program A: Outdoor Performance
This is an exciting outdoor showcase at the 2024 Ruthin International Arts Festival. From June 28th to 30th, the charming town of Ruthin will turn into your stage. You can submit with an existing performance piece; if you're chosen, you'll be provided with special outdoor venues.
Open Program B: 48-Hour Creation
Artists are invited to create site-responsive art in Ruthin. From June 28th to 30th, produce an artwork within 48 hours that resonates with the local environment and community. Immerse yourself in Ruthin's atmosphere and respond creatively to its spaces and history.
Selected artists will receive:
1. Exposure of artists and their works on the official social media accounts of the festival.
2. Documentation of the works.
3. Opportunities to interact with other artists, filmmakers, and poets.
Submission guidelines:
- Rolling until June 28, 2024 00:00 (UK time)
- Artists participate voluntarily and cover their own accommodation and meals
To apply please provide the following materials:
an introduction for yourself or your group
a brief description of your work/performance
a sample video of your work/performance
